Key Account Manager
This position works out of our Oman location in Abbott Diabetes Care Division
What You'll Do
Developing and sustaining strong working relationships with key stakeholders.
Acting as the main point of contact between key accounts and company.
Acquire a thorough understanding of key clients' needs and requirements and preparing customized solutions.
Ensure the correct products and services are delivered to customers in a timely manner.
Resolve any issues and problems faced by customers and deal with complaints to maintain trust.
Communicating and collaborating with the marketing, sales, finance and logistics departments to ensure that key clients’ needs are met.
Compiling reports on account progress, goals, and forecasts for account teams and stakeholders.
Monitoring market trends and providing regular intelligence from the relevant market.
Develop and maintain rapport with key opinion leaders, maintain close relationships with key accounts, and ensure their requirements are being met by the company's products where possible.
Conduct group meetings for HPCs to disseminate the knowledge about Freestyle Libre and AGP.
Achieve the respective area sales targets.
Comply with reporting requirements on time as required.
Team player with proven ability to work across different cultures.
Represent Abbott in a professional manner that aligns with company image ensuring activities comply with legal and ethical standards.
Abide by Abbott's code of Business Conduct and Ethics regulation as well as the industry law and local law.
Strong leadership skills.
Required Qualifications:
Tertiary Qualifications in medical sciences is a must.
People management experience is preferred.
2-5 years experience in the medical field as Sales specialist.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships with professionals of all organizational levels
Ability in problem-solving with Strong negotiation and leadership skills.

The ability to handle multiple client accounts.
Ability to analyze and draw inference from data.
Excellent communication skills.
Good knowledge and usage of computer Microsoft office programs including power point, spreadsheets and Microsoft word.
