Reporting to the Country Manager KSA, as the Technical Support Engineer you will be responsible for supporting our channel partner associates and our end user customers., providing technical support, identifying issues and offering solutions. You will also be responsible for training our channel partner, and conducting joint visits. This role will involve significant travel across Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, with some overnight stays.
This is a remote role, ideally you would be located in or around Riyadh, but not essential.
In this role, a typical day will look like:
Establishing and maintaining strong customer relationships by making periodic contact/visits, exploring specific needs, resolving problems, and establishing service strategies.
Evaluating Channel partners associates service abilities, maintain skills matrix, identify, and plan development and trainings for them.
Ensuring lean and accurate parts inventory within the region, use established work instructions to provide repair, calibration, certification, testing, and preventative maintenance services for all Hach equipment.
Actively promote contractual service agreements and upgrade purchases of new equipment and provide training on Hach installed equipment to customers.
Following safe work practices appropriate for the environment including awkward or cramped spaces, electrical and mechanical hazards.
Performing other customer service-based duties as assigned.
The essential requirements of the job include:
A minimum of certificate or diploma in instrumentation, electrical, electronic, or equivalent. University degree is preferred.
A minimum of 3 years of industry experience
Proficient with commonly used electronic test equipment (such as digital voltmeters) & mechanical aptitude.
