The Lead Sourcing Specialist, DT Sourcing is a key contributor to the Digital Technology sourcing team. The individual will work with key stakeholders to identify sourcing activities, create sourcing strategies, achieve savings targets, and negotiate contracts. This role is a global role and will be assigned to the DT Sourcing Hardware commodity team.

As a Lead Sourcing Specialist - Commodity Management, you will be responsible for:
- Develop category strategy and project pipeline development for hardware
- Achieve cost savings targets for the category
- Lead RFQs and commercial negotiations
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams including legal, finance, cyber security, and others
- Mitigate supplier risks through effective contracting
- Communicate with business leaders and stakeholders regarding the status of projects, process compliance, business procedures, and policies
- Serve as a business partner to key stakeholders and cross-functional teams including Finance, Legal, Security, Data Privacy, Vendor Management, and others to achieve business outcomes, ensure compliance with company requirements, and track metrics as needed
- Own and build relationships with key suppliers and other partners as needed to advance business requirements and achieve internal customer satisfaction
- Contribute thought leadership to projects as a team member and leads multiple projects and sourcing related activities in a fast-paced, multi-national environment
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college
- Have a minimum of 5 years of experience in technology Strategic Sourcing and/or Category Management preferably hardware.
Desired Characteristics
- Demonstrate experience leading commercial negotiations for hardware contracts
- Have experience with hardware leasing a plus
- Be able to influence others and lead cross-function teams
- Have communication and organization skills
- Be able to work with global teams in a multi-faceted environment
- Be comfortable working in a hybrid and/or fully remote capacity
- Be highly responsive with a sense of urgency to close contracts, projects, and requests
- Lead initiatives and coordinate several projects simultaneously.
- Have effective problem identification and solution skills.
- Have proven analytical and organizational ability
