We have an exciting remote opportunity for a Systems Administrator!
What You Will Do:
- Collaboration with team members to gain knowledge of application infrastructure.
- Request and configure servers, middleware, and applications per RTX policies and industry best practices.
- Deploy application updates to staging and production following the RTX change process.
- Ensure systems are secure and compliant per ATO & CMMC requirements.
- Assist with the migration to cloud and containers.
- Document application support procedures.
- Implement application monitoring and instrumentation.
- Technical and functional problem solving.
- Dedicated involvement towards continuous improvement.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Bachelor's degree 8+ years’ of system administration experience for Business-Critical applications; OR a Master's Degree with 5+ years’ system administration experience for Business-Critical applications or consummate experience; ORin lieu of a degree,12+ years of prior system administration experience.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen – this position may require access to systems/tools that are restricted to individuals who possess US citizenship
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Experience with infrastructure industry standards and trends on multiple platforms including Windows, Linux/UNIX, Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS).
- Experience with middleware products such as Microsoft IIS and IBM Websphere.
- Experience with database products such as Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server.
- Experience with Software Development practices and frameworks.
- Experience with monitoring tools such as DataDog and AppDynamics.
