Job Description

As a Legal & Contract Support Trainee at Prosci Europe you will work closely with the European Contract Manager, assisting them with the provision of advice to our European business entities on a range of contractual and legal matters.

This position is likely to suit a recent Law or Business graduate with a particular interest in developing a career within the commercial & contract field. The role offers an opportunity to contribute to, and gain insight into, the customer and supplier contractual negotiation process across our European entities.

Scope & Responsibilities

Initial key responsibilities of the Legal & Contract Support Trainee include:

  • Conducting first pass due diligence reviews of new customer terms and conditions, to ensure they are acceptable to Prosci Europe and in line with any framework agreements or other terms already in place. Flagging any areas of concern to the Contract Manager.
  • Assist with the drafting, reviewing and negotiation of contracts.
  • General contract administration including tracking contract and proposal documentation, ensuring contracts are signed and returned, issuing contracts for signature, tracking responses, issuing reminders etc.
  • Respond to general enquiries and provide support to internal and external stakeholders regarding contract-related matters.
  • Support the resolution of contract-related issues and disputes.

Requirements

The Person

Applicants should hold a legal/business related degree, or other relevant experience or qualification, and be able to demonstrate the following skills & experience:

  • Exceptional organisational and time management skills.
  • The ability to multi-task and juggle conflicting priorities and responsibilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and diligent editorial skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • A flexible approach to hours and working environments. Cross time-zone working is sometimes required.
  • A good understanding of data protection legislation and compliance and the importance of this in relation to the management of personal and professional data.
  • A “can do” attitude and a creative approach to problem solving.
  • A desire to progress and develop in the role.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Professional competency in written and spoken English

Additional Preferences

  • Professional competency in one or more European languages, e.g. French or German.
  • Knowledge of EU data privacy regulations.

Work Location: This is a remote, home based role with minimal travel requirements.
