Join our dynamic team as a Legal Counsel, where you will leverage your expertise in Austrian/German corporate law, e-commerce, and technology regulations to drive corporate transformation, ensure compliance, and support strategic initiatives in a fast-paced environment!
WHO YOU ARE
- You have at least 5 years of work experience in an in-house legal department of a company or in a law firm.
- You have a strong understanding of Austrian corporate law, and experience in e-commerce, platform and technology regulations.
- You are experienced in corporate, tax and capital structuring, corporate governance matters.
- You are strongly motivated to tackle legal projects in other domains relevant to our business where necessary.
- You have excellent communication skills in English and German, both verbal and written.
- You have great strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate legal risks and develop proactive solutions to mitigate them.
- You have proven project and stakeholder-management skills to master larger corporate transformations.
- You enjoys working in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment.
- You have a degree in Austrian/German Law.
- Knowledge of capital market law and/or M&A experience is a plus but not a must.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Evaluate and manage the implementation of corporate transformation projects.
- Be responsible for our company’s corporate governance matters.
- Ensure that our company is compliant with current and future e-commerce, technology and platform regulations.
- Develop and implement legal strategies aligned with the company's growth objectives.
- Provide legal guidance and support for strategic initiatives and business projects.
- Oversee the drafting, review, and negotiation of contracts with suppliers, vendors, partners, and other stakeholders.
- Ensure that contracts protect the company's interests and comply with relevant laws and regulations.
- Oversee compliance with data protection laws and ensure the security of customer data and company information.
