This remote role is not tightly linked to a physical location and provides flexibility in where, when and how you accomplish your work. Remote employees are expected to have a dedicated, quiet and distraction-free work space and an internet connection that’s sufficient for completing their job remotely.

Job Summary

The Lifestyle Marketing Manager of the Global Campaign Marketing function will oversee the strategic development, planning and execution of lifestyle-focused campaigns showcasing the other facets of the Harley-Davidson brand beyond our incredible motorcycle and related products. This role will be responsible for identifying and strengthening the brand intersection with culture including entertainment, music and partnerships.

The Lifestyle Marketing Manager develops the integrated global campaigns ensuring a balance of business objectives and passion to push the brand objectives further. This leader will deeply understand our brand and the influential impact of macro culture and trends to identify marketing opportunities to meet both business and consumer demand.

Job Responsibilities

  • Curious – Keep a pulse on and proactively identify relevant culture, trends and macro impacts to push the brand further
  • Strategic – Plan and manage executional strategy for lifestyle initiatives and lifestyle focused campaigns ensuring alignment between internal teams and various marketing channels
  • Thought Leader – Identify incremental lifestyle focused opportunities through insights, brand outreach and gut instinct
  • Storyteller - Articulate the brand opportunity through strong brand and retail strategy briefs that will connect with consumers to drive results by increasing brand interest and relevance
  • Influential – Create progressive views of lifestyle brand opportunities and bring to market across multiple channels, audiences and regions by partnering with team members across all levels of the organization
  • Collaborator – Partner across Marketing, Digital, Commercial and various internal teams to develop consumer centric integrated marketing opportunities to draw the attention and interest of consumers, our dealer network and other external audiences
  • Leader – Encourages collaboration, cooperation and teamwork with direct report(s) and internal teams
  • Change Agent – Adapt to changing conditions and identify creative solutions that add value in an agile and ever-changing environment both internally and on the macro consumer level
  • Detail Focused – Conscientious management of all facets of the marketing work from timelines, critical dependencies, contracts, budgets, etc.

Experience Requirements

This job typically requires a minimum of 8 years related experience with a minimum of 1 year of people management experience. In addition, the successful candidate will have demonstrated the following:

  • Experience working on high energy, culturally relevant brands and initiatives that change perspectives and drive relevance and connection with global consumers
  • Firm understanding of business and financial concepts to determine the value of any potential opportunity and assess current state initiative performance
  • Possess impeccable facilitation, written and oral communication skills along with effective team leadership skills with a focus on developing and nurturing top talent
  • Demonstrates sound ability to lead, collaborate and gain results through influence of peers and senior leaders with a proven ability to work in a highly matrixed organization
  • Embodies a strong sense of urgency in terms of both the prevention of issues and the timely and effective reaction to issues if they do emerge
  • Strong understanding of consumer mindset, consumer empathy and dedication to create evocative consumer marketing materials

The pay range shown represents the national average pay range for this role. Your pay may be more or less than the stated range and is dependent on your geographic location and level of experience.
