Job Summary

Reporting to the Managing Director, the Senior Analyst Business Operations is accountable for supporting Harley-Davidson Canada with business intelligence relative to Canadian markets, products, services, and experiences. Strong organizational and analytical skills are essential to analyze the data and glean insights from across the organization and provide insightful recommendations to leadership.

Job Responsibilities

  • Compile, manage and synthesize company, market and industry data and deliver business intelligence supporting H-D Canada business objectives and plans.
  • Effectively analyze and distill the data into patterns, trends, observations and insights.
  • Integrate data from relevant sources to identify challenges, opportunities, and implications for achieving business goals.
  • Complete ad hoc project management tasks as assigned.
  • Develop clear and concise communications related to both business intelligence and implications. Leverage experience in integrating disparate sources of information into a coherent “story” that answers specific business hypotheses.
  • Simplify complex ideas and present them effectively using influence.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's Degree Preferred

Education Specifications

Bachelors degree is preferred but not mandatory. Minimum requirement is a high school diploma.

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of related experience required in business operations/analysis with a specific emphasis on business/marketing analytics, consumer, retail business - preferably with consumer brands.
  • Demonstrated excellence in analytical skills is mandatory.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong aptitude to build collaborative, productive relationships and influence internal stakeholders.
  • Exceptional written, presentation and oral communication skills.
  • Highly self-motivated and directed. Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and be flexible in working on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to shift priorities quickly.
  • Experience working in a global, matrix environment considered an asset.
  • Fully proficient in Microsoft Office – Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.
