We operate 10 lodges in some of the most remote, inaccessible and beautiful locations. Our team of guides, drivers, camp and operations staff are passionate about the outdoors and take pride in bringing our guests on the adventure of a lifetime.

The Role

We are currently seeking an experienced Lodge Manager and an Assistant Manager for our iconic lodges based in remote Queensland and Northern Territory.

Both roles are very hands-on supporting the the day-to-day operations of the property including leading and managing staff, guest activities, infrastructure, rosters, logistics and administration. Specifically, you will be responsible for driving your team to provide an unforgettable experience to our guests.

The role will also involve, but is not limited to:

  • Actively working towards meeting the Net Promoter Scores (NPS)
  • Ensure the team is delivering impeccable guest-facing experience
  • Support and lead the team to deliver an exceptional food and beverage experience to our guests
  • Ensuring budgets are met and cost-controlled across the lodge
  • Support and lead the team in providing immaculate and high standard of guest accommodation
  • Drive a culture of safety, ensuring all incidents and hazards are reported and investigated in a timely manner
  • Complete all administrative tasks as required by the operations team
  • Take an active role in inductions, and staff training
  • Other management tasks required for the successful running of the lodge

Requirements

About You

You will have a passion to travel and a desire to experience working and living in remote locations with a love for sharing unique and iconic experiences. The ideal candidate will have:

  • The availability to work an entire season
  • Previous experience working remotely
  • Passion and enthusiasm for hospitality, travel, tourism and adventure
  • Pride in delivering exceptional standards of service, ensuring that guests leave us with memories that last a lifetime
  • High levels of interpersonal and communications skills
  • Proven experience in general hospitality
  • The ability to think on your feet while delivering within set time frames
  • A Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate
  • Remote First Aid certification (must include CPR)
  • Food Safety certificate
