We operate 10 lodges in some of the most remote, inaccessible and beautiful locations. Our team of guides, drivers, camp and operations staff are passionate about the outdoors and take pride in bringing our guests on the adventure of a lifetime.

The Role

We are currently seeking experienced, reliable and hardworking Fishing Guides to join our team for the current season.

Our Fishing Guides are based at one of our lodges which are located in Arhnem Land.

As a fishing guide you will be required to lead guided fishing tours, provide our guests with education about fishing techniques and ensure they have an experience of a lifetime.

Experience in blue water and estuary fishing is essential, knowledge of NT tidal movements is expected.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Meet and introduce members of a tour on arrival
  • Provide safe and educational tours in line with a pre-planned itinerary
  • Answer questions and advise on the local area
  • Organise and supervise groups involved in outdoor fishing adventures
  • Set up and maintain equipment ensuring it safe and in working condition
  • Demonstrate and provide instruction in the use of equipment and techniques required for participation
  • Provide advice on safety and ensure activities are conducted with safety at the forefront of mind
  • Respond to emergencies if necessary and provide first aid if required
  • Assist with grounds maintenance and operational needs at the Lodges as required

About You

You will be required to share your knowledge and passion for fishing in incredible locations with our guests. Providing the best standards of guest service, ensuring they leave us with lasting memories.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Exceptional verbal communication skills with a knack for making people feel at ease
  • Ability to solve problems without compromising on the delivery of exceptional guest experiences

Requirements

You MUST hold the below licenses

  • Coxswains ticket
  • Approved NT Operators Licence
  • Remote First Aid Certificate
  • Drivers Licence
