Goals:

To establish and manage the managed services practice within the M365 space whereby managed services teams are managing and supporting services aligned to best practices along with providing oversight and recommendations for the M365 operations and technologies used by all Managed Services Customers.

To ensure best practice design, implementation, and management of M365 are met by teams delivering solutions and to stay up to date with M365 technologies and trends within the industry, ensuring solutions utilised are suited to the technologies supported by blueAPACHE.

Requirements

  • Previous role with an IT&T System Integrator, Managed Service Provider, or similar organisation is desirable.
  • 3+ years in a M365 role or at least 5+ years in an infrastructure or security role specialising in Microsoft Cloud applications.
  • Current M365 certifications (Enterprise Administrator Expert preferred).
  • Industry experience working within the ITIL framework (ITIL certifications highly regarded).

Qualifications:

  • Expert Knowledge of M365 Admin Centres, configurations, tools, processes, and operations.
  • Design and implement Microsoft 365 services (Windows 10, M365/O365 Apps, EMS).
  • Plan Microsoft 365/Office 365 workloads and applications.
  • Implement modern device services.
  • Implement Microsoft 365 security and threat management.
  • Manage Microsoft 365 governance and compliance.
  • Microsoft 365 Defender Suite (EndPoints, O365, Identity, MCAS etc.).
  • M365 environments and technologies (EXO, SPO, TEAMS, Defender, EMS, INTUNE etc.).
  • Application Whitelisting (Microsoft Defender, Airlock, AppLocker).
  • Understanding of industry compliance and security standards such as PCI DSS, ISO 27001, NIST CSF and APRA CPS 234.
  • Strong documentation and process creation skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish, manage, and grow blueAPACHE’s systems, processes, and documentation within the M365 services.
  • Work with the bA Cloud & Security Practice Lead to productise M365 offerings and determine how these are delivered within our operational departments.
  • Provide specialist technical support and guidance when required.
  • Be a key M365 resource during major incidents and drive the incident to resolution while providing clear communication to our customers.
  • Prevent security incidents occurring by proactively ensuring our customers application and infrastructure are operating within industry vendor best practice configurations.
  • Mentor and coach other managed services team members in developing appropriate M365 troubleshooting and other specific skills.
  • Define and recommend training and certification paths within the M365 space across the operational departments and providing guidance to managers and team leaders.
  • Generate new opportunities and billable work within the M365 space by focusing on proactive activities, developing new services, and extending existing services.
  • Provide recommendations to blueAPACHE customers and sales staff for improvements in M365 configuration and deliverables.
  • Design and deliver on projects within the M365 space as required.
