LMI seeks a Management Analyst to support a federal program management office in the Washington Metropolitan Area. Responsibilities

This individual will provide management and program analysis support to the client’s portfolio and project management policy programs, ongoing initiatives, and strategic initiatives, as requested.

Specific responsibilities may include:

  • Prepare program-related documentation, briefings, and reports as appropriate.
  • Work with Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and Working Groups to develop and maintain program effectiveness
  • Support data calls to the component projects for information needed
  • Respond to data calls with required information
  • Develop responses to internal and external inquiries
  • Verifying that appropriate research and review of prior audit and inspection reports issued by internal and external oversight.
  • Quality assurance checks of the information and reports maintained in specific audit and compliance systems.
  • Documenting issues and working with programmers to establish resolutions to system issues experienced by Audit Program Managers.
  • Updating branch documentation (training documents, Internal Operating Procedures, trifold, and org charts).
  • Maintaining the division’s SharePoint site.

Qualifications

  • 3-10 years of experience, a bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, management, finance, information management, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Ability to effectively solve problems.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
  • A true team player who maintains a positive attitude in a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to pass a government background investigation, including financial, criminal, residential, educational, foreign affiliation, prohibited substance abuse, and employment verifications; active CBP background investigation preferred. Please note that only U.S. citizens are eligible for a suitability determination.

DESIRED SKILLS

  • Previous work developing and maintaining SharePoint sites.
  • Previous work with CBP or external audit agencies – GAO/CIO is a plus.
  • Prior experience in internal compliance management preferred.
