University Health Network (UHN) is hiring a Manager of Data Analytics to work in the growing field of Healthcare Value Based Care. This position offers remote work opportunity. Candidate must be able to commute to our corporate office located in Knoxville, TN for monthly on-site meetings and intermittent work in the office when needed. Candidate must be able to maintain HIPAA privacy requirements when working in a home office setting.

Summary of Position

The Manager of Data Analytics is a full-time position that oversees the development and implementation of analytics processes to support business goals. This role combines expertise in data analytics and business, fostering effective communication and relationships. Responsibilities include managing daily analytics, operations, and ensuring timely and secure data flow within and outside the organization. This role also involves leading and developing a proficient data analytics team, demonstrating integrity, and maintaining confidentiality. This position will report to the Director of Operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develops and optimizes processes and workflow for department
  • Validates team's work and own work to ensure accurate and reliable data outputs
  • Demonstrates organizational management and time management including running meetings/creating agendas
  • Serves as Data Analytics subject matter expert
  • Supports performance improvement and customer service
  • HIPAA Compliance

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • 3 - 5 years management experience leading an analytics team with ability to create project timelines, delegate, and manage team assignments.
  • 5 years of experience in a position monitoring, managing, manipulating, and drawing insights from data required; Healthcare industry a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in analytics, computer science, or related field preferred.
  • Experience with project management and vendor product integration.
  • SQL skills, ability to perform effective querying involving multiple tables and databases.
  • Python experience highly desired
  • Data visualization tools such as Power BI and/or Tableau experience highly desired
  • C Sharp experience a plus
  • Experience using analytics techniques to contribute to company growth efforts, increasing revenue and other key business outcomes.
  • Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills with strong written and verbal communications skills.
