Reporting into the Sr. Director of Sales Operations, you will be an integral link between the Sales Organization and other corporate departments including: Field Sales, Inside Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Customer Success. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Sales Operations Manager to join our team. The Senior Sales Operations Manager will play a pivotal role in optimizing our sales processes, enhancing efficiency, and driving revenue growth. This individual will lead a team responsible for deal desk, revenue operations, forecasting, analytics, process improvement, and sales enablement initiatives. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a proven track record of success in sales operations management, strong analytical skills, and excellent leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales operations strategies to drive revenue growth and enhance sales efficiency.
  • Lead the sales planning and forecasting process, including setting sales targets, analyzing performance metrics, and identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, finance, and product management, to align sales operations initiatives with overall business objectives.
  • Establish and maintain sales analytics and reporting frameworks to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insights to sales leadership.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and lead initiatives to streamline sales processes, enhance productivity, and optimize resource allocation.
  • Implement and manage sales technology solutions, including CRM systems, sales analytics tools, and sales enablement platforms.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to the sales operations team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in sales operations management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or a related field; MBA or equivalent experience preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in sales operations management, with a strong background in deal desk operations.
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth and optimizing deal desk processes to accelerate sales cycles and increase win rates.
  • Experience with deal structuring, pricing strategies, and contract negotiations.
  • Extensive experience with deal desk tools and technologies, such as CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) systems, contract management software, and revenue recognition solutions.
  • Ability to collaborate closely with sales, finance, legal, and other cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on deal terms, pricing, and contract terms.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess deal performance, analyze win/loss data, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), sales analytics tools, and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex deal structures and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong leadership capabilities with a focus on developing and empowering team members.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.

The compensation for this position may vary depending on factors such as your location, skills and experience. Depending on the nature and seniority of the role, a percentage of compensation may come in the form of a commission-based or discretionary bonus. Equity and additional benefits will also be awarded.

Compensation Range$178,000—$230,000 USD
