Job Responsibilities :

The Marketing Specialist will be responsible for managing the Razer Gold website and social media platforms, overseeing the design and feedback of marketing assets, and coordinating event arrangements. This role requires close collaboration with our global marketing team, creative design, content managers, product, engineering, and operations teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Website and Social Media Management:

  • Support marketing activities mainly in Japan.
  • Coordinate marketing campaigns in Japan in collaboration with the global marketing team.
  • Initiate programs and campaigns aimed at educating Japanese users about Razer Gold.
  • Support the delivery of end-to-end brand and marketing campaigns.

Marketing Asset Design and Feedback:

  • Translate marketing materials between Japanese and English (including home page, promotion pages, press releases, external proposal documentations, etc.)
  • Familiarity with web tools (CMS, admin console, JIRA, Google Analytics, etc.) is a plus. Training will be provided for enthusiastic fast learners with no experience.
  • Manage Razer Gold Japan's official SNS account e.g. Twitter and any other official accounts.
  • Provide weekly reports of marketing calendar and activities, comparing target outcomes to actual achievements.

Event Coordination:

  • Execute marketing events, including Japanese marketing copywriting, content publishing, social media copywriting and checking, marketing exposure tracking, and result clipping.
  • Assist with regional marketing activities such as applying virtual prizes, sending out rewards or gifts, and other marketing promotion details,

Collaboration and cross-functional work:

  • Coordinate with the global marketing team and execute requirements such as marketing promotion localization and content publishment, new game onboarding, feedback clipping and etc.
  • Collaborate with relevant marketing and creative teams on the creation of marketing assets and back-end operations setup, and ensuring that visual and product communications adhere to Razer Inc.’s global design standards.

Pre-Requisites :

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a relevant field (or up to 3 years of relevant working experience).

Gaming Enthusiast: A passion for gaming and familiarity with the gaming industry.

Data-Driven: Experience with tracking tools such as Google Analytics and Microsoft Power BI.

Language Skills:

  • Proficient in English (necessary for communication within the team).
  • Preferably a native Japanese speaker (to cover Japanese platforms and collaborate with Japanese partners).

Technical Proficiency:

  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Familiarity with digital consumer platforms and e-wallet marketing trends.

Mindset and Traits:

  • Can-do attitude and assertiveness.
  • Self-motivated with a passion for social media management.
  • Ability to work across time zones and cultures.

Additional Advantage (Not Mandatory):

Copywriting or Design Experience:

  • If you have experience in copywriting or design, it will be an added advantage.
