The Role
We are currently seeking passionate MCAT Tutors who are dedicated to assisting students during their test preparation journey. As an MCAT Tutor with our organization, your primary responsibility will be to help students excel in all sections of the Medical College Admission Test (MCAT). Your mission will involve working one-on-one with students to identify their weaknesses, build their confidence, and enhance their test-taking abilities. You will collaborate with students to develop personalized study plans, provide targeted instruction, and offer ongoing support to ensure their success on the MCAT exam. This role is vital to our organization’s commitment to delivering high-quality academic support and helping students achieve their educational goals. It can be performed from anywhere in the United States or Canada.
Responsibilities
- Tutor students one-on-one on all sections of the MCAT exam
- Tailor an MCAT curriculum to student's needs
- Track and analyze student progress
- Create and maintain project trackers to monitor student progress
- Keep students’ families up to date on progress
- Be passionate about education and an expert thought leader for your students
Qualifications
- Have a 4-year college degree (Bachelor’s Degree or higher is required)
- Tutor during after-school hours, including afternoons, evenings, and weekends
- Have previously taken the MCAT (copy of official score report will be required)
- 1-2 years of previous teaching or tutoring experience desired
- Able to provide MCAT Test preparation for the full exam, each section
- Superior attention to detail and a high ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines
- Comfortable teaching/coaching in a fully remote environment
- A baseline MCAT score of 121+
