Position: Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing (MEP) Expert — Data Centers Type:Contract Compensation:$100–$140/hour Location:Remote Commitment:5–10 hours/week
Role Responsibilities
Review complex engineering tasks in data-center environments. Focus on cooling, hydronic systems, HVAC, and electrical systems.
Check engineering assumptions, calculations, and standards. Ensure compliance with codes and equipment data.
Identify ambiguities and improve task prompts, acceptance criteria, and rubrics.
Validate corrected tasks end to end. Produce clear technical findings.
Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines.
Qualifications
Must-Have
2+ years of experience in data-center or mission-critical MEP design.
Strong command of data-center systems and relevant codes.
Ability to interpret large document sets and explain technical issues clearly.
Preferred
Experience at a leading multidisciplinary or consulting engineering firm.
PE or recognized commissioning credential.
