MS Sr Quality Engineer, Altera Digital Health Inc., Melville, NY. May telecommute from anywhere in the U.S. and report electronically to Melville, NY client site. For healthcare client, analyze and document requirement and specifications working with other members of teams, team leads, as well as business users/owners. Coordinate application and workflow analysis sessions, joint design sessions, and requirement gathering sessions. Create test scripts as per workflow and business requirement. Execute functional test cases & support integrated testing cycles. Support UAT testing. Work with developers, product owners and QA team, making sure business requirements for healthcare software are met. Create and maintain accurate documentation for developers, QA team. Provide work estimates to managers and project managers as requested. Develop Test plan & strategize the testing activities. Define & develop test data requirements to exercise the Test Scenarios/Cases. Provide accurate testing status to leadership & project team(s). Actively participate in process improvements, voice project concerns, impacts. Actively participate in best practices. Negotiate approach, effort & delivery time. Facilitate Internal/external integrated testing. Manage defect life cycle and Conduct Test plan/Test cases review with project team. Salary Range: $117,175.20 - $157,552/year. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration or related field or foreign equivalent. Requires five (5) years progressively responsible software testing engineering and software development lifecycle experience to include three (3) years: with Healthcare HL7 and Ensemble Engine, Cache; test management; tools such as HP QC, Octane or ALM; Jira, Caristix, Oxygen and Filezilla; Interface Explorer; SoapUI and Postman for API testing; two (2) years: automation; databases such as Oracle/SQL, Rapid SQL or Toad; and Agile SAFe. Work M – F, 9a – 5p, 40 hours/week and provide on call support 1 – 2 times per quarter, as required, for go-lives or high priority/critical projects.
