About the role

We have grown at a fast pace in recent years through acquisition and we are now searching for a highly-organised, skilled and detailed-oriented Project Accountant to join our Finance team as part of a Netsuite integration project. The successful candidate will play a key role in the migration process to Netsuite and will be responsible for ensuring accurate reconciliation and financial integrity within the platform.

Key Responsibilities

Data Migration:

Execute data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes to migrate financial data from legacy systems to NetSuite.

Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and integrity throughout the migration process.

Reconciliation:

Perform detailed reconciliation of financial data in NetSuite, comparing migrated data with source systems to identify and resolve discrepancies.

Develop and implement reconciliation procedures to ensure ongoing accuracy and consistency in financial reporting.

NetSuite Configuration:

Work closely with the Head of Finance Transformation and external NetSuite administrators to configure and optimize NetSuite settings for seamless integration and data reconciliation .

Provide expertise in leveraging NetSuite functionalities to enhance financial reporting and analysis.

Documentation:

Create comprehensive documentation of data migration processes, reconciliation procedures, and NetSuite configurations .

Ensure that documentation is kept up-to-date and readily accessible to support ongoing system maintenance .

Collaboration and Communication:

Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including finance, IT, and project management teams, to understand business requirements and address any issues related to data migration and reconciliation.

Communicate effectively with team members and project stakeholders to provide updates, resolve issues, and ensure project milestones are achieved.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Proven experience as an administrator / Accountant with a focus on data migration and reconciliation, in a NetSuite environment.

Strong understanding of financial processes and accounting principles.

Experience with ETL and data integration processes.

NetSuite certification is a plus.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
