Network Infrastructure Solutions Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network Infrastructure Solutions Engineer to manage and enhance our global office network infrastructure, as well as support client-specific software deployments in data centers across the globe. This role will also involve configuring and managing custom networking hardware for critical financial services connections and ensuring seamless integrations between cloud (AWS) and on-premise systems.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Global Office Network Management:

• Manage the network infrastructure across our global offices (US, EU, India, Cambodia and Singapore)
• Design and maintain secure, scalable, and robust VPNs and firewalls between global offices and data centers.

• Configure and maintain secure, reliable interconnectivity between AWS-hosted environments and physical data centers.
• Support the deployment of custom networking solutions (routers, switches, firewalls) required to integrate our AWS-hosted environments with systems that have proprietary networking hardware
• Optimize performance and security for hybrid cloud environments, ensuring that all deployments meet PCI-DSS, SOC, and other regulatory compliance.

• Assist with ongoing cloud infrastructure initiatives, including migrating workloads to or from AWS depending on client needs.
• Provide expertise in cloud architectures and networking, focusing on cost optimization and scalability in multi-cloud or non-cloud regions.
• Spearhead initiatives around deploying our core banking software on non-AWS data centers for customers in regions where AWS services are not available. Ensure seamless deployment of these services with full compliance with local regulations and data security standards.

• Work closely with the software development and security teams and provide guidance on enforcing best practices related to network management, deployment, and security.
• Provide detailed documentation of configurations, network topologies, and deployment processes for internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• 5+ years of experience in network engineering, with experience in both cloud (AWS) and on-premise data center environments.
• Proven experience in deploying and managing complex network infrastructures, including multi-region offices.
• Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS)
• Strong understanding of PCI-DSS, SOC, and other relevant financial services regulations.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and experience with network troubleshooting and security best practices.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects, and collaborate with global teams.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in financial services or fintech.
• Familiarity with other cloud providers (Google Cloud, Azure, etc.).
• Certifications in network management (e.g., CCNA, AWS Certified Solutions Architect).
