Next JS Front End Developer

We are looking for a skilled Front End Developer with expertise in Next.js to join our team and help build our professional networking platform.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of React, Next.js, and modern front-end development practices. They will work closely with the design and back-end teams to implement user interfaces, optimize performance, and ensure a seamless user experience.

Responsibilities:Develop and maintain user interfaces using Next.js and React
Collaborate with designers to implement responsive and intuitive user interfaces
Optimize front-end performance and ensure cross-browser compatibility
Integrate with back-end APIs and services
Write clean, modular, and reusable code following best practicesParticipate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback
Stay up-to-date with emerging front-end technologies and trends

Requirements:6+ years of experience as a Front End Developer, with expertise in Next.js and React
Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript
Experience with state management libraries like Redux
Familiarity with front-end testing frameworks like Jest
Knowledge of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
Experience with version control systems with Git & Bitbucket
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Assessment:
Create a reusable component for rendering a user's work experience and education history. The component should accept props for the data and handle formatting and display logic.
Implement client-side form validation for editing a user's profile information. Display appropriate error messages and prevent form submission if validation fails.
Optimize the performance of a page that displays a list of user profiles by implementing pagination and lazy loading of images.
Requires the candidate to build a simple Next.js component or page that demonstrates their understanding of React, JSX, and component lifecycle methods.
Sample Next.js application and ask them to identify and implement performance optimizations, such as code splitting, lazy loading, and caching.
Create a responsive layout for a given design mockup using CSS and media queries, ensuring the layout adapts to different screen sizes and devices.
Provide a scenario that requires managing complex application state and ask the candidate to implement a solution using a state management library (e.g., Redux, MobX).
Code sample with intentional issues (e.g., performance, accessibility, best practices) and ask the candidate to review the code and provide feedback and suggestions for improvement.
A Back-end API specification and ask them to implement the necessary API calls and data handling in a Next.js application.
Present a front-end development challenge (e.g., browser compatibility issue, complex UI interaction) and ask the candidate to troubleshoot and propose a solution.
