    AsaPayrollSpecialist I,you’llplay an integral role in supporting payroll processing intheWorkdayERP,assistingemployeeswithpayroll-relatedquestionsandhelping toidentifyopportunities to maximize efficienciesand contribute tomeaningful payrollprojects.  

     

    Responsibilities:

    • Help processbiweekly andweeklypayroll for45,000 employeesin Workday  

    • Review payroll data for completeness and accuracy, ensuring compliance with company policies and federal, state, and local regulations  

    • Support payroll processing activities including off-cycle payments, retroactive adjustments, and final pay calculations  

    • Answer payroll related questions in Service Now, email and Slack, providing professional and timely customer service  

    • Maintain confidentiality of employee payroll and personal information while adhering to data privacy standards 

    • Participate in Workday system testing, process improvements, and the implementation of new payroll functionality as needed, while documenting payroll procedures and maintaining accurate process documentation

    Qualifications:

    • 1+year experience with payroll processing required   

    • Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting strict payroll deadlines 

    • Ability to collaborate and provide support in a team environment while demonstrating strong communication and customer service skill s

    • Knowledge of federal and state tax and wage and hour laws  

    • Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills 

    • Workday experience preferred
