Job Description

Kody, a fast-growing Fintech specialising in bringing online payments and better financial services to brick and mortar businesses, is seeking a People Manager to join their dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly growing startup where you'll take the initiative to shape our People function. This role is to start in Q3 2024.

We're hiring for a people manager to support employee engagement, events, hiring and HR admin. You'll report directly to the C-Suite. You'll be responsible for ensuring that People ops run smoothly and effectively to deliver maximum value to the organisation as a whole. You'll need to work flexibly and resourcefully to get things done, implementing new tools, systems or processes as appropriate.

This is a generalist role offering the opportunity to work across all aspects of HR, including hiring, onboarding, evaluation, comms, employee engagement, payroll, culture and building out our employee value proposition. You will be confident in the use of various HR Information Systems and you’ll act as the main point of contact for employees’ queries on HR-related topics.

The ideal candidate will be capable of navigating HR law (no experience required, just a willingness to use Google!). You'll solve problems autonomously and look for efficiencies (e.g. gross pension vs net pension schemes).

Whist we're growing quickly, we may not yet have a full-time workload for you. During any gaps we'll invite you to get involved in other areas of Kody and learn more about how the business operates.
