Principal Product Managers are trusted advisors to senior stakeholders and are responsible for understanding their needs, driving commercial results and supporting them on their journey to providing more successful customer experiences.

Responsibilities:

  • You will develop an understanding of client problems, provide advisory services and capability uplift.
  • You will collaborate with your team and stakeholders to think big and imagine future solutions that solve the customer's problems and deliver value for your client's business.
  • You will build a shared product vision and then shape, define and communicate short and long-term strategies.
  • You will cultivate meaningful relationships with client stakeholders, bridging technical and business worlds and ensuring ongoing buy-in and support.
  • Create and manage the product or portfolio roadmap: effectively prioritize business opportunities from a wide range of inputs, understand and prioritize this work so your team is always working on the most impactful initiatives.
  • You will understand how the product contributes to the client's vision, business strategy and goals.
  • Track industry trends and the competitive landscape, undertake formative research and data analysis and generate insights.
  • You will assess client needs and develop the account strategy and proactive proposals needed to deliver value to our client
  • Constantly evaluate if your solutions have solved the customer problem and delivered on the business opportunity, through quantitative and qualitative measures.
  • Drive the overall product development lifecycle, utilizing lean and agile approaches to pilot products quickly, get feedback, iterate, and rapidly launch roadmap increments that deliver undeniable value.
  • Continuously deliver undeniable value by ensuring the high performance of Thoughtworks teams on the account and proactively manage risk with the client
  • Contribute to the growth and scale of our evolving business through taking an active part in recruiting, community building, mentorship and driving best practices

Qualifications:

  • You have a track record of delivering successful products to market.
  • You have a deep understanding of user research and design methods and processes.
  • Passion and perseverance for creating best-in-class software products which deliver an outstanding customer experience.
  • Solid understanding of agile software development practices and product maintenance/support processes.
  • You enjoy leveraging data to improve one's understanding of user needs, product performance and value created for the customer.
  • You can work at company, portfolio and product level — defining and executing a strategy, shaping a vision and translating it into a roadmap with clear business and customer value-based measures of success.You lead with customer experience, putting customers/users and their needs at the heart of product development.
  • You're able to clearly define a value proposition and seamlessly articulate it, generating support and buy-in from all relevant stakeholders.
  • You can define and successfully execute a customer experience strategy across multiple products and channels.
  • You enjoy collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to determine the best product-market fit and define a product roadmap.
  • You naturally create an effective collaboration between Thoughtworks and client teams by encouraging open communication and advocating for shared outcomes.
  • You evangelize product thinking, leveraging your extensive expertise to advise stakeholders, coach product teams, introduce best practices, identify roadblocks and generate solutions for resolving them quickly.
  • You have a bias for action, and can break down complex problems into tangible steps.
  • You love facilitating workshops with stakeholders.
  • You enjoy motivating committed, smart people to do the best work of their careers.
