The Raytheon Functional Finance team has an exciting opportunity for a Principal Specialist, FP&A to join our organization in support of the Engineering Directorates. In this role, the specialist will support their respective Business Manager, Engineering Discipline VP and Leadership Team with the coordination of all financial related activities. This position is currently designated as fully remote. However, the successful candidate will be required to work from one of the 50 U.S. states (excluding U.S. Territories).

What You Will Do

  • Form business partner relationship with respective Business Manager, Center Managers, Department Managers and Section Managers - provide ad hoc analysis, drive a culture of financial awareness and accountability

  • Provide financial structure and processes for Engineering Directorates

  • Partner with the CAM / IPT lead in preparation, analysis, review and approval (white sheet sign off) of all Department level EAC’s

  • Review and approval (white sheet sign off) of all proposal/bids

  • Partner with Engineering Overhead group in execution of the Overhead Budgets

  • Prepare labor transfers and IOTs as required

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics or related topic

  • Typically requires 5+ years finance work experience; OR an Advanced degree and 3+ years prior relevant experience

  • Experience in the Microsoft Office Suite of tools

  • U.S. Citizenship Status is Required as this position will require the ability to Access US Only Data Systems

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Experience with EAC's and defense proposal bids

  • Financial modeling background with strong financial/analytical skills.

  • Aerospace/Defense industry experience.

  • Must be able to communicate effectively through all levels of organization.

  • Must be a self-motivated team player and possess the ability to work effectively and efficiently with little direction while handling multiple of high priority projects.

  • Broad knowledge of project management

  • Knowledge of RTX projects, programs or systems in order to provide enhancements within job area

The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
