  • Manage Meta’s cross-functional privacy review process for new products and features.
  • Facilitate discussion and coordination among product managers and privacy stakeholders across the company (including members of the legal, public policy, product marketing, security, and communications teams).
  • Work with product managers and other privacy stakeholders to develop and drive consensus around creative solutions to privacy-by-design challenges.
  • Track and document new product proposals, status updates, and key decisions.
  • Communicate privacy decisions to the broader cross-functional teams.
  • Communicate two different types of audiences both internally and externally.
  • Telecommute from anywhere in the U.S. permitted.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Industrial Engineering and Management, or a related field, followed by five years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience in job offered or project management, security/privacy, consulting, or computer-related occupation.
  • Requires five years of experience in the following:
  • 1. Supporting the design, build, and execution of industry leading privacy programs
  • 2. Collaborating with Engineering and business owners to define program requirements, set priorities, and establish scope which includes defining the roadmap and long-term strategy of team
  • 3. Managing cross-functional dependencies, risks, and changes effectively by optimizing scope, schedule, and resources accordingly
  • 4. Developing and owning communication plans to effectively and proactively communicate program status, issues, and risks to stakeholders
  • 5. Defining and tracking key metrics and key quality and performance indicators and driving cross-functional execution of program deliverables
  • 6. Driving internal and external process improvements across multiple teams and functions including reducing the manual efforts through automation
  • 7. Anticipating bottlenecks, providing escalation management, and ensuring user privacy is not compromised
  • 8. Managing relationships both internal and external to the privacy organization
  • 9. Consulting, business operations, technical program management, or other operational disciplines
  • 10. Process design and process improvement in a complex cross-functional environment, AND
  • 11. Privacy and data protection, operational risk management, compliance, audit and implementation of control frameworks, privacy by design, information security, adversarial spaces, or incident management.
