Role Overview:

Reporting to our Product Lead or Product Center of Excellent Lead, this position will support defining, prioritization, and execution of the product roadmap as well as driving cross functional teams of internal stakeholders and external vendors to deliver on our vision.

The ideal candidate will have a firm understanding of the supplemental health, group insurance and financial wellness market. He/She/They should have experience executing on complex project plans, leveraging internal data and feedback to build knowledge and drive effective business decisions, and the aptitude to build solutions and capabilities.

What You’ll Do:

  • Build and maintain a level of technical and business knowledge about the assigned products and services supported; act as the SME resource and point of contact for internal partners.
  • Work collaboratively with matrix partners to gather market intelligence about products, pricing, positioning, value propositions, channel conflicts/opportunities to inform development / implementation of winning strategies and tactics.
  • Leverage competitive insights, market knowledge, and business acumen to create a vision for their supported products and services as well as a multi-year plan (or roadmap) to achieve it, with the goal of maximizing the value created over the short and long-term.
  • Educate internal teams with effective training, tools and materials that articulate the value proposition of assigned products and services.
  • Develop B2B strategies in partnership with Marketing to provide critical product information and consultation to clients and brokers.
  • Responsible for oversight of key initiatives and critical functions in support of the roadmap to drive work across the company end-to-end throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Ongoing evaluation based on established expectations and goals. Identification and facilitation of issue resolution.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 5+ years of experience in the group insurance industry.
  • Proven track record of developing strong relationships with matrix partners, distribution and/or vendors.
  • Ability to drive results for multiple key objectives simultaneously and prioritize work.
  • Open minded and creative – seeks ‘out of box’ solutions.
  • Ability to provide direction to and influence cross-functional teams to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Goal oriented and personally accountable; resourceful and self-directed.
  • Ability to work effectively in dynamic, rapidly changing, team-based environment.

Pay Transparency

Salary range:$85,000-$147,500

Overtime eligible:Exempt

Actual base salary will be determined based on several factors but not limited to individual’s experience, skills, qualifications, and job location. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. In addition to base salary, employees may also be eligible to participate in an incentive program.
