Job Description

Who we are

Coefficient is a VC-backed SaaS startup based in the SF Bay Area. Our culture is centered around people who are smart, driven, curious and collaborative. We are embarking on a journey to unleash the power and flexibility of spreadsheets across the most important systems that companies use. The founders are serial entrepreneurs whose last startup, Shopular, was backed by Y Combinator and Sequoia and acquired by Rakuten Ebates.

What we do

Coefficient provides a no-code solution that enables business teams to transform the way they work with data by connecting spreadsheets to live data in their most important company systems. Whether their data lives in business applications, databases, data warehouses, or business intelligence solutions, business users can work faster and more effectively using the tools they’re most comfortable with.

Overview

We are looking for a B2B Product Marketing leader to build deep customer empathy and drive go-to-market strategy and execution for our priority ICPs. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, this is a hands-on role that will be accountable for accelerating revenue growth through targeted marketing initiatives. We support both a self-serve and sales-led GTM motion, so the role will partner closely with our Product, Growth Marketing, and Sales teams to understand the customer journey and needs, execute marketing that accelerates acquisition and expansion, and enable our AEs to close deals effectively. You’ll be challenged to move fast, prioritize ruthlessly, and have a huge impact on the trajectory of our business.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and drive a holistic GTM strategy to accelerate acquisition of our CRM, Finance, and Data/BI personas
  • Partner with our Growth Marketing team to execute and optimize channel campaigns
  • Own the development and execution of compelling messaging and positioning, balancing horizontal breadth with persona-specific depth
  • Leverage data and insights to drive continuous improvement and commercial innovation
  • Lead lifecycle strategy to identify and act on opportunities for revenue expansion
  • Execute hands-on research to deepen our understanding of the customer journey, inform the product roadmap, and sharpen our marketing tactics
  • Drive product launches to introduce new innovation to customers and prospects
  • Partner with Rev Ops and Sales to improve both conversion and ACV growth

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in Product Marketing, Growth, or Product Management, ideally in a PLG or hybrid self-serve / sales motion.
  • Experience in the CRM (eg. Salesforce, Hubspot), Finance (QuickBooks, Netsuite), or BI (Tableau, Looker) spaces are preferred
  • Proven ability to turn customer insights and business strategy into great execution
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize across a vast array of product solutions and initiatives
  • Analytical mindset and experience making data-driven decisions balanced with experienced judgment
  • High level of accountability, ownership, and urgency

Location

We are looking for someone based in the San Francisco Bay Area. However, we are open to the best candidate even if they are remote in the US.

Our Benefits:

• Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance

• Unlimited PTO

• Parental Leave

• 401K Plan

We are committed to equal employment opportunity regardless of race, color, ancestry, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, age, citizenship, marital status, disability, gender, gender identity or expression, or veteran status. We are proud to be an equal opportunity workplace.
