Why you want to work for our Agile & LPM Delivery team:

The Delivery Manager is responsible for ensuring successful and high-quality delivery of software products in an Agile SAFe environment! This person will use project management skills, release train engineer (RTE) skills and scrum master skills to manage large or cross-functional initiatives in the product and engineering organization. This role will work closely with QA, Product, DevOps, Architecture, Engineering and Executive Stakeholders to report metrics and status information as well as directly impact the team’s ability to meet the initiative or program increment (PI) goals!

This is a remote work opportunity reporting directly to the Manager, Agile & LPM Delivery and will be located in either: Austin, Dallas/Fort Worth, Denver, Minneapolis, New Orleans.

How you'll make a difference:

  • Manage 1 – 3 cross-functional initiatives using project management standard processes.
  • Oversee one or more ART’s (and the SAFe framework) associated with the initiatives to ensure that its functioning and delivering on track.
  • Schedule, plan and facilitate all agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, retrospectives, grooming sessions, PI planning, release planning and more.
  • Summarize PI Epics into Program PI Objectives and publish them for transparency and visibility.
  • Assign, coordinate, and review work and activities of scrum teams.
  • Report status updates and standard company and SAFe metrics to senior leadership on the performance and efficiency of the ART and initiative.
  • Serve as a Scrum Master for 2 to 4 teams across the initiative, if needed.
  • Assist in overall program/project planning and ensure cross-team dependencies are well-understood and modeled in project plans and timelines.
  • Identify, document, and publish risks and issues related to the initiative or program increment (PI) and define mitigation strategies and resolution paths where required.
  • Resolve cross-team impediments and blocking issues.
  • Maintain relevant metrics that guide the development team to more efficient processes.
  • Create and maintain clear and effective information communication between the development team, the product owner, and other partners.

What you bring to the table:

  • 4+ yrs experience as a Project Manager, Delivery Manager or related role
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business or a related field
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification highly desirable
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot problems creatively
  • Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Experience coaching teams through various stages of maturity, with the goal of improving team performance and productivity.
  • Experience encouraging team ownership and accountability, self-organization, and empowerment.

Please Note:

  • This job does not require travel domestically or internationally,
  • This is a full-time, exempt opportunity.
  • Relocation will not be considered for this position.

The salary range for this position is $79,700 - $147,900. This position is also eligible for a bonus as part of the compensation package.

Base pay offered may vary depending on various factors, including, but not limited to: job-related knowledge; skills; experience; and other eligibility factors such as geographic location. The Total Rewards package includes competitive base pay and an opportunity to enroll in a variety of benefit programs, generally including health insurance, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, retirement savings plans, life and disability insurance programs, and several programs that provide for both paid and unpaid time away from work.
