We are seeking a highly structured, collaborative, and educationally minded Content Programming Specialist to support the core content quality and curation initiatives. This role is focused on driving content excellence across major platform for Youth content.
The ideal candidate bridges the gap between digital content curation and pedagogical excellence. While this position encompasses standard technical content programming tasks, it leans heavily into curating, evaluating, and structuring content designed specifically for middle school educators and students (grades 6–8). We are looking for an expert with a background in teaching or middle school curriculum development who can instinctively recognize high-quality educational material, manage databases systematically, and maintain impeccable cross-functional alignment.

Pay: $70-74k base salary
Location: 100% Remote (must be flexible to work 8am-5pm PST shift timing)
Key Responsibilities
Actively discover, review, and evaluate new digital assets as assigned.
Use internal content management tools to systematically classify, tag, and organize materials into product-specific repositories and databases.
Maintain flawless, accurate tracking spreadsheets.
Systematically analyze, audit, and verify data lists provided by the Project Manager for diverse operational, compliance, and strategic needs.
Evaluate video assets and platform metadata across designated verticals to identify data discrepancies, structural errors, or content policy mismatches.
Apply precise, immediate fixes inside internal tools/spreadsheets or document escalations clearly.
Lead peer-level quality assessments by performing rigorous QA checks on an aggregate 10% sample size of all operational tasks.
Implement and track mutually agreed-upon scoring forms and metrics to ensure vendor performance never falls below defined passing thresholds. Requirements
Minimum of 2–4 years of experience in middle school classroom teaching, academic curriculum building, or instructional design focused on grades 6–8.
Proven professional experience in digital content management, editorial programming, digital library management, or content quality review.
High comfort level working inside complex Content Management Systems (CMS), digital asset databases, and advanced spreadsheet ecosystems (Google Sheets/Excel) for tracking, querying, and reporting.
Demonstrated capability to present complex data, trends, and content insights to diverse audiences, cross-functional stakeholders, and corporate project managers.
Proven track record of operating successfully in an independent work environment, meeting strict velocity and quality targets without constant supervision. Benefits
