Chosen candidates will receive an offer package that aligns with their mid-level or senior level of experience, including additional perks and benefits.

Your tasks

We won’t list all the tasks a QA Engineer should normally do. Instead, we say it’s up to you to make Carbmee one of the most reliable and bug-free software out there. Here is what you get to accomplish that goal:

  • Work on a modern technology stack with Python, JavaScript, RESTful API, PostgreSQL, AWS

  • Work in small interdisciplinary teams where everyone takes on ownership and responsibility

  • We lead with context and not control. You bring your ideas and decide where it fits.

  • Always learn something. No matter how experienced you are, be open-minded and hungry for knowledge

  • Help fellow team members with your experience, work closely with our Head of Engineering and Engineering Leads, and shape the product roadmap

  • For Senior Applicants - a fantastic opportunity to grow and lead a team. Mentor and support junior engineers, help them improve and build a successful team

  • Join the Carbmee team and get the unique opportunity to work with the biggest organizations in the world to help them reduce carbon emissions

Your profile

  • We are looking for a passionate and motivated engineer with at least 3 years of professional experience in QA engineering working with our modern technologies

  • We use the aforementioned technologies so you must be able to adopt them quickly. In particular, Python.

  • You have experience with API test-automation, ideally also with UI test-automation

  • You are exceptionally detail-oriented and passionate about your work

  • You rely on solid communication skills and you speak English at a fluent level

  • It’s totally fine if you are not perfect at everything. At Carbmee there are plenty of opportunities to learn and grow

  • You are a supportive team player with a strong work ethic, eager to learn and work independently as well as in a team environment

  • You are passionate about business sustainability, carbon emissions management, and climate tech in alignment with Carbmee’s mission and vision

  • You are excited to join our diverse and international team in Berlin or work remotely in alignment with Germany’s time zone

Don't feel like you meet all the criteria? We get it: confidence can sometimes hold us back from applying for a job. We'll let you in on a little secret: there's no such thing as a 'perfect' candidate. Carbmee is a place where everyone can grow. So however you identify and whatever background you bring with you, please apply if this is a role that would make you excited to come to work on a Monday morning.
