Your work matters with us. We are a dynamic company implementing next-generation telecommunications technologies for global markets. We are looking for a RAN DevOps Engineer to join our growing team and contribute to the implementation of functionalities for the 5G and 5G mmWave Radio Unit.
Responsibilities
- Develop a deep understanding of 5G RAN architecture, interfaces, protocols and their implementation in Radio Unit and rest of network components,
- Creating 5G RAN setups using provided documentation, hardware and software components,
- Configuring hardware, including servers and network components (switches, routers), for building 5G infrastructure (10G, 25G, 100G fiber network interfaces),
- Preparing the environment and providing support during integration processes of 5G components (RU, DU, CU, Core),
- Creating PTP/SyncE time synchronization topologies based on ORAN C1/C3 for real-time solutions,
- Writing automation and testing scripts, including Bash and Python,
- Creating and maintaining 5G RAN test scenarios,
- Troubleshooting issues encountered during the integration of RU and physical or emulated RAN,
- Verification of proper operation at the MAC layer (U-plane, C-plane) and higher levels,
- Collaboration with external solution providers during deployment,
- Preparing hardware and software requirements for 5G network deployments,
- Creating documentation for designed topologies.
Requirements
- At least a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering/Telecommunications/Computer science or a related scientific field,
- At least 2 years of experience in DevOps/SysOps or a related position,
- Strong proficiency in Linux,
- CI/CD and GIT,
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills,
- Effective communication and teamwork skills,
- Good English skills (spoken and written).
Good to have
- Experience in RF communication systems, Software-defined radio, and related technologies,
- Familiarity with O-RAN architecture, specifications, interfaces and protocols,
- Knowledge of LTE/5G stack and standards,
- Experience with multiple software and FPGA languages including C/C++, Python, Verilog/VHDL.
