The opportunity

We have an opportunity for a talented Regional Account Manager (Midlands and South West) to join us on the exciting and rewarding path we are taking here at Castle Trust Bank. Our Property sales team is well positioned to realise its ambitions to become one of the leading providers in the market and we are looking for someone to join our fast-paced team to play a pivotal part in our journey. As a Regional Account Manager, you will work with new as well as existing intermediaries within the Midlands and South West, to provide support, guidance and develop a relationship with our key partners.

Using your influential capability, you will take ownership of the whole sales cycle from developing a prospect strategy, researching competitors through to carrying out prospecting activity (including pitches and presentations) and visiting customers to establish long term relationships – never forgetting our customer-first focus.

This is a home-based opportunity; therefore, we are flexible on your location. That said, considering the nature of the role, there will be an expectation for you to travel to meet clients covering the Midlands and South West region, with occasional travel to our Basingstoke offices.

What we are looking for in you…

What is important to us is that you have a proven background in sales/business development (field-based), specifically in specialist property finance (bridging, but to let mortgages), with a natural flair and desire to deliver (and exceed) results, building long lasting relationships with customers and colleagues alike. If you have operated in the specialist mortgages sector or similar, this would be highly advantageous, and you must feel comfortable working in a regulated environment.

What is equally important is that you thrive working in a KPI driven environment, with a proven ability for developing business within a targeted market sector, having previously developed your own effective strategy for your designated territory. Your communication and influencing skills will need to be engaging, with the ability to adapt your style to your audience.
