Job Summary

The Remote Services Platform Administrator will manage and oversee the uSolar platform, ensuring its optimal performance and reliability. This role involves serving as a primary point of contact for cybersecurity inquiries, providing second-level technical support for server-based products, and facilitating seamless communication between customers and internal teams.

1. Platform Administration:

  • Administer and manage the uSolar remote services platform, ensuring its stability, security, and efficiency.
  • Monitor uSolar system performance and troubleshoot issues to maintain optimal operations.
  • Implement and oversee updates, patches, and configuration changes to the uSolar platform.

2. Cybersecurity Liaison:

  • Serve as the primary contact for customers and third parties for all imaging products and the uSolar system involving cybersecurity and IT inquiries .
  • Provide guidance and support on cybersecurity best practices and protocols.
  • Collaborate with internal cybersecurity teams to address and resolve security-related issues and inquiries.

3. Technical Support:

  • Provide second-level technical support for server-based products, addressing complex issues that escalate from first-level support.
  • Analyze and resolve technical problems, working closely with customers and internal teams to deliver effective solutions.
  • Provide ongoing training and support to field service and technical support teams ensuring full understanding, competency, and effective utilization of remote tools.
  • Develop and continually optimize dashboards that provide the most timely and important information for the field service and technical support teams.

4. Customer Interaction:

  • Be the United Imaging representative to answer and address cybersecurity questions and inquiries for existing and potential new customers.
  • Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and provide timely information and resolutions for any concerns or issues.
  • Develop and maintain documentation and knowledge base articles to assist customers and internal teams.

5. Collaboration and Reporting:

  • Work closely with other departments to ensure a cohesive approach to uSolar platform management and customer support.
  • Generate reports and provide insights on platform performance, utilization, security incidents, and support metrics.
  • Work closely with BU engineering teams to continually improve imaging system parameter reporting.

This position will be located in our HQ Houston, TX office

Working Conditions:

Magnetic Environment Exposure:

This position requires working in an environment where strong magnetic fields may be present. Employees may be exposed to powerful magnets, electromagnetic equipment, or other devices that generate magnetic fields.

Risk to Ferrous Metals in the Body:

Due to the nature of the magnetic environment, employees must not wear or carry ferrous metals on their person while in the designated work area. This includes, but is not limited to, metal objects such as steel, iron, and other ferrous materials. Additionally, employees with implants, medical devices, or foreign objects containing ferrous metals within their body (e.g., certain surgical implants, pacemakers, or metal pins) may be at risk and must disclose any such conditions to their supervisor prior to starting work.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in administering remote services platforms and providing technical support.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Strong communication skills, with a focus on customer service and technical support.
  • Demonstrated ability to support and educate internal service and sales organizations and external partners and customers.
