What will you be doing as a Retail Media Analyst?

  • Key point of client contact for platform-related requests or issues.
  • Work very closely with multiple retailer clients and external partners to coordinate and execute high-quality analytic deliverables.
  • Effectively synthesize content written and orally; strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrate resiliency and sound judgment in dealing with business challenges, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to find solutions.
  • Identify automations and improvements to the client-facing retail media solutions, working with product teams to bring the enhancements to life.
  • Learn and utilize Circana tools to become a go-to resource for clients and internal partners.

To be successful as a Retail Media Analyst, you will enable our retailer clients to grow by helping to make better & faster decisions. This is accomplished through the following competencies:

Client Focus:

  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of client needs with a focus on retail media and their supplier client’s media goals.
  • Confidently present accurate and actionable results to client teams, including supporting the client through delivering insights to the supplier end client.
  • Serve as the client’s go-to resource for the retail media platform, both in meetings and through building documentation on Circana tools and approach.
  • Consistently act with client satisfaction in mind; follow through on commitments to ensure the needs of the client are met.

Cross-functional Coordination:

  • Collaborate frequently with multiple internal and external partner teams, including technical leads, product, commercial, agency partners, and more
  • Effectively bridge the gap between client business needs and internal technical teams, working to identify, validate and resolve gaps to the retail media platform.
  • Fully understand the cross-functional resources available to route client questions and find the best solution to their questions or needs.

Problem Solving:

  • Ask meaningful and relevant questions to understand problems and potential causes.
  • Use logical, systematic approaches to break down complex problems into their fundamental parts.
  • Accurately assess problems and effectively/efficiently arrive at excellent solutions. When found, provide clear, concise, & actionable recommendations.

Planning & Organizing:

  • Plan for, organize, and coordinate work and resources to respond to data delivery requests and to ensure project goals and timelines are met.
  • Expect to work across multiple accounts and workstreams in your day-to-day.
  • Hold self and others accountable for meeting timeline and quality standards.
  • Ensure client requests are thoroughly understood by the project team and that solutions meet the client’s needs.

Digital Advertising Knowledge:

  • Familiarity with digital advertising is a must, any knowledge of retail media is a plus. Areas of focus can include: media measurement, incremental lift modeling, behavior-based targeting, identity graphs/identity resolution, shopper marketing, shopper analysis, and more.
  • Experience with data analysis is very applicable for this role, including storytelling with data and intermediate to expert experience with MS Excel.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in digital media, retail media, or related industry
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree a plus
  • Strong project management and process skills
  • Strong communication and client service skills
  • Experience with syndicated data is a plus

This position can be located in the following area(s): Remote.

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An employee’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. The salary range for this role is $47,000.00 to $80,000.00.
