What You’ll Be Doing:

The RCM Lead is responsible for leading a team of 5-7 specialists to drive operational performance within the Revenue Cycle department. This leader will lead multiple functions throughout the revenue cycle (e.g., insurance eligibility, claim billing, collections, payment posting, and patient billing). Your responsibilities will include:

  • Own multiple RCM operational functions and be responsible for driving performance based on key KPIs
  • Develop and execute strategies to make significant gains against KPIs you’re responsible for
  • Perform root cause analysis leveraging data on large issues that are inhibiting operational performance and develop recommendations to resolve
  • Own organizational design for your team, develop a hiring plan based on anticipated growth and determine which roles are most critical to hire when
  • Lead, develop, and performance manage a group of 5-7 specialists while monitoring engagement and retention
  • Lead select special projects related to improving processes to increase efficiency and team outcomes

Salary range: $90,000- $118,000

You’ll Be a Good Fit If:

  • 3+ years of experience as a supervisor of others in Healthcare organizations. Preferred if experience with Revenue Cycle Operations specifically (billing healthcare claims, plan benefits, insurance operations).
  • Leadership: Strong ability to lead a team, align on shared goals, drive performance, and develop team members as a whole and individually.Operational Performance: Deep understanding of most important KPIs and ability to pull all available levers to improve performance most effectively.
  • Problem-Solving: Able to see the biggest pain points that are hindering operational performance and come up with corresponding solutions.
  • Agile: You thrive in a fast-paced, unpredictable environment, and you’re able to pivot as new priorities emerge.Team Player: You’re collaborative by nature, relish in camaraderie and group wins, and are looked to by your colleagues as a steadfast partner and source of encouragement.
