Grow Therapy

Job Description

About us:

Grow Therapy is on a mission to serve as the trusted partner for therapists growing their practice, and patients accessing high-quality care. Powered by technology, we are a three-sided marketplace that empowers providers, augments insurance payors, and serves patients. Following the mass increase in depression and anxiety, the need for accessibility is more important than ever. To make our vision for mental healthcare a reality, we’re building a team of entrepreneurs and mission-driven go-getters. Since launching in February 2021, we’ve empowered more than ten thousand therapists and hundreds of thousands of clients across the country and insurance landscape. We’ve raised more than $178mm of funding from Sequoia Capital, Transformation Capital, TCV, SignalFire, and others.

About The Role:

Since founding, Grow has been gathering rich data throughout its systems. We are looking for a scrappy and motivated Director of Data to help their team derive insights from this data that power high-impact decisions across a variety of functions (product, growth, billing, operations, and more). This is the opportunity to make an impact as the first executive data hire at the company.

What you’ll do:

  • Manage a team of 6 and continue to build out a data analytics team for Grow Therapy
  • Build strong working partnerships with business and technology leaders to plan and execute data applications in quarterly and annual product roadmaps. Establish and drive success criteria for all data applications.
  • Encourage team members to strategically influence various business teams using insights drawn by data
  • Recruit and develop talent as a player-coach - developing data solutions with your team while mentoring, coaching, and empowering success.

You’ll Be a Good Fit If:

  • You have 5+ years of experience with Analytics and Data Science, with at least 4+ as a manager
  • You have technical and management ability to lead a team of data analysts and data scientists to help design and implement an efficient and credible flow of data across the organization utilizing industry best practices.
  • You have experience working with internal stakeholders to understand and find ways to leverage the data the company has available to solve business problems, and derive business value from data analysis.
  • You have strong business sense, connecting the dots, and communicating complex ideas in simple language to a variety of audience types, technical and non-technical.
  • You have experience doing quantitative analysis
  • You have hands on experience with SQL or other analytic functions and data manipulation in Python

The salary range for this role is $195,840-240,000.
