The Director of Sales will be responsible for leading and managing the sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets. This role requires a process-oriented and data-driven individual with a strong background in B2B Automotive SaaS sales. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of coaching account executives, negotiating deals, providing constructive feedback, and driving revenue growth.
Requirements
1. Leadership and Management:
- Lead, manage, and mentor the sales team to achieve individual and team targets.
- Develop and implement sales strategies and processes to drive growth and efficiency.
- Foster a high-performance culture through regular coaching, feedback, and professional development.
2. Sales Strategy and Execution:
- Design and execute comprehensive sales plans to expand customer base and achieve sales goals.
- Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Develop and manage sales budgets, forecasts, and reports.
3. Process and Data Management:
- Implement and optimize sales processes and tools to enhance productivity and accuracy.
- Utilize CRM and other sales tools to track and manage sales activities, pipeline, and performance.
- Ensure data integrity and leverage analytics to inform strategic decisions.
4. Client Engagement and Deal Negotiation:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
- Lead negotiations and close high-value deals, ensuring favorable terms for the company.
- Address and resolve client concerns and issues promptly and effectively.
5. Team Development and Coaching:
- Provide ongoing training and support to account executives to enhance their skills and performance.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and set clear goals and objectives.
- Encourage a collaborative and positive team environment.
6. Feedback and Improvement:
- Gather and analyze feedback from customers and team members to drive continuous improvement.
- Implement best practices and stay updated with industry trends and competitive landscape.
- Act as a liaison between the sales team and other departments to ensure alignment and effective communication.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
- 6-8 years of experience in SaaS sales, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret sales data.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Experience with CRM systems and sales tools.
- Ability to work independently and manage a remote team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
