Luminary Group is partnered with a leading global biotech company dedicated to providing innovative solutions in the field of biotechnology. We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Sales Director to join our team and drive business growth in the DACH region (Germany, Austria, and Switzerland). As a Sales Director, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, managing key accounts, and expanding our customer base within the biotechnology industry.
Responsibilities:
- Create and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and drive business growth in the DACH region.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities by building and maintaining strong relationships with key decision-makers in the biotechnology industry.
- Manage and nurture existing customer accounts to ensure customer satisfaction and maximize sales opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing and R&D, to develop customized solutions for clients and address customer needs.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitors' activities to identify potential business opportunities and market challenges.
- Prepare and deliver effective sales presentations and proposals to clients, showcasing our products and services.
- Negotiate and close sales agreements, ensuring favorable terms for both the company and the customer.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance, generate sales reports, and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and other events to network with potential customers and promote Luminary Group's products and services.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless customer onboarding and post-sales support.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Life Sciences, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, preferably in the biotechnology or life sciences industry.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong knowledge of the DACH region and the biotechnology industry in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
- Ability to understand and present complex scientific and technical information to diverse audiences.
- Self-motivated and driven to succeed, with a strong entrepreneurial mindset.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Willingness to travel within the DACH region and occasionally internationally.
