Position Summary
As part of ITT's global strategy, CCT aims to upgrade outdated ERP systems and increase its SAP footprint by utilizing internal SAP teams and expertise. In the next 3-5 years, we have scheduled several implementation projects in Europe and the USA. Based on existing and future projects, CCT is looking for an SAP Functional BSA to help deliver new SAP S/4HANA implementation projects and support existing SAP systems.
As the SAP Functional Business System Analyst, you will work hands-on on SAP capabilities, deliver SAP implementations, and provide ongoing support for our SAP systems. Your role is pivotal in optimizing our supply chain, manufacturing, and quality processes and ensuring they align with our plant operations. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in SAP and an in-depth understanding of the manufacturing industry and related processes.
Essential Responsibilities
- This position plays a key role as a cross-functional subject matter expert and technical consultant throughout the lifecycle of a project.
- Requirements gathering, hands-on SAP configuration, functional specification for custom developments, testing (development test plan, perform, and evaluate), and support throughout the delivery of new and modified SAP processes and solutions.
- Be capable of leading end-to-end design workshops, providing knowledge of best practices, and transforming business processes through advising and guiding business users.
- Assume partial project management responsibility where needed.
- Ability to organize and direct the activities of others, such as consultants, both for project work and sustaining activities related to support and enhancements.
- Experience with key integration areas in procurement, supply chain, manufacturing, and quality, as well as interfaces to and from external systems.
- Proactively work and mitigate any unforeseen risks.
- Recommend the most appropriate and scalable long-term solutions for business.
- Support worldwide IT projects in the SAP space.
- Help develop training documentation for end users.
- Good understanding of business processes in the manufacturing industry domain.
- Prepare process flows /training documents and execute training for key business users and end users.
- Act as a business partner and create long-term relationships with key business users and stakeholders.
- Develop and execute data migration plans.
Position Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Five years of proven experience designing, implementing, and supporting SAP MM/PP/QM solution.
- Must have good knowledge in the following QM areas: QM Master Data, Quality Planning, Inspection process, Notifications, Supplier Quality Management, Batch Management.
- Hands-on experience configuring SAP-based processes.
- Solid understanding of demand planning, MRP, batch management, in-house manufacturing, and subcontracting processes.
- Good knowledge of integration aspects with other modules WM, FI, CO, and SD.
- Experience with full-cycle SAP implementation projects.
- Hands-on experience with SAP WM is preferred.
- Good understanding of SOX requirements.
- Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy and integrity.
- Hybrid work environment with a mix of on-site and remote work.
- Occasional travel will be required based on business needs, such as workshops, training, partner meetings, or professional development – up to 20%.
