About the team

The Center of Expertise (CoE) is not only a global team with locations all over the world, also the CoE North America (~400 Employees) is a highly diverse team of colleagues with a large variety of cultural background. The key attitude of the team is: HELP. We are not only helping our customers with their challenges while designing, implementing and optimizing SAP Solutions, but we are also helping our internal colleagues when it comes to problem root cause analysis, knowledge transfer and finding information.
Most of our CoE colleagues go onsite to our customers on a regularly basis (but typically not full-time) to deliver Premium Engagement Services like SAP MaxAttention. However, your internship role is a dedicated backoffice role in the Newtown Square office.

What you’ll do:

Position title: SAP iXp Intern- Virtual Project Room
Location: Newtown Square, Pennsylvania, PA
Expected start date to end date: April 1st 2024 for 6 Months (40 hrs / week)

In this role, you’ll:

The Virtual Project Room (VPR) is our SAP-internal one-stop-shop and central entry channel to support our colleagues with delivery of all Premium Engagements. The workload in the VPR continues to grow and still needs extra hands to continue with highest efficiency. Main tasks are to support organizing the VPR managing Premium Engagement Service Delivery especially for New MaxAttention Projects which are all key contributors to a strong PE Revenue. Virtual Project Room core members take care of CRM Case Maintenance, Frontoffice Requests, Planning Reviews and QAs, Reporting, Documentation, Data Cleansing and more.

Your key tasks will be:

  • Initiate, schedule and host VPR Review meetings and take minutes/actions
    • Contact Technical Quality Manager (TQM) for status updates (e.g. confirmation of GoLive)
    • Follow-up on Activities and update them in CRM
    • Enhance the documentation in the VPR JAM Page / Sharepoint

• Scan the VPR Inbox and assign tasks

  • Update documentation of processes and handbooks
    • Use BI / Dashboards and SAP CRM to generate monthly VPR NA Newsletters
    • Update Chatbot with new information
    • Summarize VPR survey results
    • Create/update Customer Cases in CRM@SAP
    • Analyze customer lists and identify cleanup tasks
    • Test new App’s on the basis of test cases
    • Create and maintain Customer Engagement Collaboration Rooms in Sharepoint
    • Participate in team meetings, review the ongoing patterns and trends of work and propose potential mechanisms for improvement and simplification

    • Experienced in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Sharepoint, MS Teams, Outlook
    • Completion of Bachelor or Master in 2023 or 2024

Compensation Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the hourly base salary rate range applicable for the posted role. The targeted range for this position is $15-$62 USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidates will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process.
