    MANTECHseeks a motivated, career andcustomer-orientedSAP Technical Architectto join our team. This is a remote position.

    The Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA) uses the ABAP development stack to develop end user business applications, and you would be responsible for complex business and system analysis, design, coding, and testing for current and proposed enterprise application environments.

    Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    • Defining robust solutions that meet critical performance, capability, and scalability requirements to assess complex business needs and translate them into effective technical strategies, ensuring that the architecture aligns with both current and future organizational goals.

    • Shaping the technical foundation of projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and optimal functionality.

    • Solution Design: Translating business requirements into technical architecture, including data structures, authorization concepts, and integration points.

    • System Integration: Overseeing communication between SAP modules and external enterprise systems via APIs and middleware.

    • Landscape Management: architecting cloud and on-premises environments (often including SAP Basis duties) to ensure high availability and optimal performance.

    • Emerging Tech: Designing and extending modern SAP environments with AI integrations (e.g., Joule, BTP Studio) and low-code extensibility.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • At least6+ years of SAP experience, frequently transitioning from technical backgrounds like ABAP development, Basis, or system integration.

    • Associate’s degree + 2 years of related experience

    • Experience with SAP S/4HANA, SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), and SAP Fiori/UI5.

    • Experience with OData, REST APIs, and middleware.

    • Experience with AI & Automation: Designing agentic AI workflows and integrating intelligent enterprise capabilities.

    • Active Security+ Certification

    Clearance Requirements:

    • Must be a US Citizen and be willing and able to undergo a Tier 2 Investigation with favorable results prior to starting this position.

    Physical Requirements:

    • The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve deliveringpresentations;must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations. The person in this position will need to be able to operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.

    The projected compensation range for this position is $89,100.00-$148,200.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
