We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Security & IT Analyst to help protect our systems, data, and processes from security threats and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. This role will play a key part in maintaining and improving our security framework, contributing to SOC2 and FedRAMP compliance, and managing risk. Responsibilities:

  • Support implementing and maintaining ISO 27001 &SOC2 compliance programs, conducting assessments, identifying potential vulnerabilities, and ensuring adherence to these standards.

  • Collaborate on FedRAMP compliance, ensuring our IT infrastructure meets federal security regulations and guidelines.

  • Develop and implement security measures, including the configuration and management of firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and other security technologies.

  • Continuously monitor the organization’s security landscape, respond to potential threats, and assist in conducting security incident investigations.

  • Assist in developing and executing the incident response plan, including performing root cause analyses and coordinating responses to security breaches.

  • Perform regular risk assessments, identify vulnerabilities, and work cross-functionally to implement proactive measures to mitigate potential risks.

  • Facilitate vendor risk assessment process between sales staff and potential customers.

  • Participate in security audits and ensure that security policies and procedures are followed.

  • Help develop and deliver security awareness training, fostering a strong security culture within the organization.

  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, best practices, and emerging threats to ensure that our security measures evolve with the changing landscape.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of IT security experience, focusing on SOC2 and FedRAMP compliance.

  • Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or equivalent.

  • Strong knowledge of security architecture, risk management, and incident response best practices.

  • Proficiency with security technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and vulnerability management tools.

  • Experience conducting risk assessments, audits, and security incident investigations.

  • Comprehensive understanding of security protocols, cryptography, authentication, and authorization systems.

  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments, providing expertise and advice on IT security matters.

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with industry standards such as GDPR, HIPAA, or other relevant security regulations.

  • Experience developing security awareness programs and training for staff.

  • Certification in or progress toward at least one designation in an information security discipline (e.g., CISSP, SSCP, CSA+, CASP, GESC, GCIA, CEH).
