OVERVIEWAutomox is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Accounts Receivable Analyst to join our finance team. This role will play a pivotal part in our accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely collections, and supporting our financial health. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with NetSuite and SuiteBilling, strong analytical capabilities, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accounts Receivable Management: Process the end-to-end accounts receivable process ensuring timely and accurate invoicing across various transactions including new business, expansions, contract modifications, auto-renewals, multi-year agreements, and overages.
  • Collections: Execute efficient and customer-centric collections strategies to ensure timely payments while maintaining strong client relationships using Netsuite and Tesorio.
  • Data Analysis: Perform in-depth analysis of AR trends, metrics, and data to provide actionable insights that improve cash flow and operational efficiency for collections meetings for accounting leadership.
  • Month End Close: Support month-end and year-end close activities finalizing all billing procedures, and ensuring accuracy in revenue-related accounts, as well as audit support.
  • NetSuite & SuiteBilling Expertise: Leverage your in-depth knowledge of NetSuite and SuiteBilling to manage billing operations, troubleshoot issues, and optimize processes.
  • Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Success, Account Managers, Sales Operations, and other teams to resolve billing discrepancies and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Remote Work Excellence: Thrive in a fully remote setting, demonstrating initiative, reliability, and accountability in meeting deadlines and achieving goals.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in accounts receivable, billing, collections, or a related role, with a proven track record of managing complex AR operations.
  • Extensive experience with NetSuite ERP and SuiteBilling is highly preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and deliver actionable insights.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with a customer-focused approach to collections.
  • High level of independence and self-motivation, with a demonstrated ability to excel in a remote work environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
  • Experience with business tools such as SalesForce, Zendesk, Gmail, and Stripe is a plus.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Familiarity with SaaS business models and subscription billing is a strong advantage.

The salary range listed is the base pay range for this position. In addition, the total compensation package includes bonus, equity and benefits. Actual earnings may be less or more depending on a candidate's direct experience, skills, industry knowledge, and location.

Compensation$55,000—$65,000 USD

LOCATION

We are a fully distributed company of remote workers with concentrated hubs in Austin, TX, Tampa, FL, and Boulder, CO. We are in the process of establishing small collaboration spaces in these locations to provide opportunities for in-person discussions and team building when needed.
