Position Summary

The Skill Development team at Huron, led by the Director of Skill Development, is actively seeking a Senior Associate for Skill Development. This pivotal role plays a major part in enhancing the skills and expertise of both new and seasoned employees, contributing to organizational growth and promoting employee success.

In this key role, the Senior Associate will be focused on enhancing employee skills by developing tailored learning programs and initiatives. Collaborating closely with the Director of Skill Development and other seasoned professionals, the Senior Associate will have ample mentorship and professional growth opportunities.

Qualifications

Key Responsibilities:

Designing Learning Programs: Develop and implement tailored learning programs to address the specific skill development needs of new and experienced employees.
Identifying Skill Gaps: Conduct assessments and collaborate with stakeholders to identify skill gaps across different employee levels and departments.
Developing Training Materials: Create engaging training materials, including presentations, e-learning modules, and other resources, to support skill development initiatives.
Facilitating Training Sessions: Lead in-person/virtual training sessions and workshops to deliver skill development content effectively to employees.
Evaluating Program Effectiveness: Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of skill development programs, gathering feedback and making adjustments as needed to ensure maximum impact.
Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze data related to skill development initiatives, such as participation rates, learning outcomes, and employee feedback, and prepare reports to track progress and measure impact.

Qualifications:

A strong track record of success in driving impactful learning initiatives and a collaborative and proactive approach to problem-solving would be well-suited for this role.

3-4 Years of Experience being a functional consultant in management consulting

3-4 Years of Experience: Required to have 3-4 years of proven experience “specifically dedicated” to working on learning and skill development projects within a consulting firm environment

Subject Matter Expertise (SME) in Learning: Recognized as a subject matter expert in learning and skill development, with a deep understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, and emerging trends in talent development.

Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, Business Administration, or related field. Additional certifications or specialized training in learning and development would be advantageous.
Project Management Skills: Demonstrated ability to effectively manage learning projects from initiation to completion, including planning, resource allocation, stakeholder management, and project documentation.
Collaborative Skills: Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and build positive relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Innovative Thinking: A creative and innovative mindset, with the ability to propose and implement new ideas, methodologies, and technologies to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of skill development initiatives.
Analytical Abilities: Proficiency in gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data related to learning outcomes, program effectiveness, and employee feedback to inform decision-making and continuous improvement efforts.
Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS), e-learning authoring tools, and other technology platforms used to deliver and manage training content.

Central or Eastern Time Zone Preferred

The estimated base salary range for this job is $85,000 - $115,000. The range represents a good faith estimate of the range that Huron reasonably expects to pay for this job at the time of the job posting. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to specific skills or certifications, years of experience, market changes, and required travel. This job is also eligible to participate in Huron’s annual incentive compensation program, which reflects Huron’s pay for performance philosophy. Inclusive of annual incentive compensation opportunity, the total estimated compensation range for this job is $97,750 - $132,250. The job is also eligible to participate in Huron’s benefit plans which include medical, dental and vision coverage and other wellness programs. The salary range information provided is in accordance with applicable state and local laws regarding salary transparency that are currently in effect and may be implemented in the future.
