Mercer Operations & Technology is seeking candidates for the following position based in Mexico City (hybrid, with three days a week in the office):

Senior Client Account Consultant – Voluntary Benefits

What can you expect?

  • The Senior Client Account Consultant (CAC) acts as a primary client relationship manager with responsibility for all account servicing

  • The CAC functions as the central point of communication in the department, acting as a liaison between various departments and functional areas

  • You will consult with the Client Executive/Program Manager on day-to-day client needs and to complete projects

  • You will proactively manage tasks and projects that affect administration of the business to achieve timely and effective action on client needs

  • The CAC applies project and change management best practices, such as Six Sigma and Lean, to identify opportunities for process, tool and organizational improvement

We will count on you to:

  • Establish a strong relationship with the client and carrier partners and develop an understanding of all aspects of the client

  • Monitor all projects to make sure they are on track and to ensure commitments are kept

  • Implement marketing plan for the communication of the client’s program to its employees

  • Mentor and provide feedback internally to other team members

  • Evaluate current processes and determine new solutions and process improvements to create an exceptional employee experience

  • Manage escalated participant issues in partnership with the Client Service Analyst to identify any trends or process improvement needs

What you need to have:

  • Bilingual - must have solid English communication skills, both spoken and written

  • Proven project management skills or benefits administration experience, with the ability to build strong relationships

  • Professional demeanor with strong organizational skills, and self-motivated with the ability to handle multiple client projects and meet defined timelines

  • Results-oriented with the demonstrated ability to follow through on client issues to resolution
