About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Commodity Manger to lead the sourcing and procurement of electro-mechanical and mechanical components critical to our mission. In this role, you will drive global sourcing strategies, establish solid supplier partnerships, and ensure a reliable supply chain that meets quality, cost and delivery requirements to enable Motive’s innovative products. This position offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams, influence product design decisions, and optimize supply chain performances.

What You'll Do:

  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies for electro-mechanical and mechanical components, aligning with Motive’s business objectives
  • Manage global supplier relationships, including supplier selection, negotiations, and performance management
  • Collaborate with engineering and product teams to influence design decisions for cost, lead time and manufacturability
  • Ensure supply continuity by proactively managing risks and identifying alternative sourcing opportunities
  • Analyze market and industry trends to develop comprehensive plans to identify and mitigate supply chain risks
  • Drive cost optimization through should-cost models, benchmarking, and strategic negotiations to achieve competitive pricing
  • Lead supplier business reviews to drive both tactical improvements and strategic impacts
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements in all sourcing and supply chain management activities

What We're Looking For:

  • 7+ years of experiences in sourcing and supply chain management, with a focus on electro-mechanical or mechanical components for consumer electronics, automotive or related industries
  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, engineering, business administration, or a related field
  • Demonstrated negotiation skills and proven experience in contract management
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and drive strategic decisions
  • Experience with global supplier management and working in cross-functional teams
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels and resolve conflicts
  • As a plus,10+ years of experiences in sourcing and supply chain management, with a focus on electro-mechanical or mechanical components for consumer electronics, automotive or related industries
  • As a plus, Master’s degree in supply chain management, engineering, business administration, or a related field
