    Summary:

    In this role, you will lead complex Environmental Services (EVS) consulting engagements that drive operational improvement, labor optimization, and cost savings for healthcare clients. You will serve as a trusted advisor by leveraging analytics, project leadership, and industry expertise to deliver actionable insights and sustainable outcomes across both in-sourced and outsourced EVS models. You will collaborate with client leadership, guide cross-functional project teams, and support the development of strategic solutions that improve operational performance and client value.

    Responsibilities:

    • Lead advanced analysis of complex operational, financial, and benchmarking data to identify performance gaps, cost savings opportunities, and actionable client insights.

    • Develop executive-ready presentations and recommendations that support operational improvement, EVS optimization, and measurable client outcomes.

    • Manage project plans, timelines, deliverables, and workstreams using Vizient project management methodologies to ensure successful engagement execution.

    • Facilitate client meetings, working sessions, and presentations with operational and executive leadership teams.

    • Serve as a trusted advisor on Environmental Services operations, including in-sourced and outsourced EVS models, labor strategies, and EVS supply optimization.

    • Maintain proactive communication with clients to manage expectations, address issues, and ensure a high-quality client experience throughout engagements.

    • Identify opportunities to expand client value through additional analyses, operational improvement initiatives, and follow-on consulting engagements.

    • Partner with Principals and Engagement Leaders to support business development activities and position solutions aligned with client needs.

    • Contribute to the development of consulting tools, methodologies, standard deliverables, and intellectual capital across the practice.

    • Mentor consultants through coaching, knowledge sharing, and guidance on analytics, data storytelling, and client deliverables.

    Qualifications:

    • Relevant degree preferred.

    • 5 or more years of relevant experience required.

    • Demonstrated experience supporting Environmental Services operations, initiatives, or consulting engagements required.

    • Experience leading or supporting operational improvement, labor optimization, or cost savings initiatives required.

    • Background in acute care Environmental Services preferred.

    • Experience within a healthcare system, consulting firm, or client-facing consulting environment preferred.

    • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word required.

    • Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for executive and operational audiences.

    • Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and client relationships in a fast-paced consulting environment.

    • Ability to travel regularly and expeditiously throughout the year to meet clients’ needs and timetables.

    Estimated Hiring Range:

    At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $88,900.00 to $155,500.00.This position is also incentive eligible.
