POSITION OVERVIEW
A rapidly expanding, entrepreneurial technology company, Alarm.com, is seeking ambitious, self-directed individuals to join our Corporate Account team. The Corporate Account Manager is a sales role, responsible for driving revenue through an assigned set of corporate accounts and managing current and prospective dealer relationships to ensure dealer success with Alarm.com products. This position is remote, however requires at least 50% travel across a national account base.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Corporate Account Manager’s primary job responsibilities will include:

  • Managing and developing a set of assigned corporate accounts to increase productivity and sales of Alarm.com products
  • Developing relationships with key individuals inside account base and investigating and resolving obstacles to dealer success
  • Close collaboration with Director of Corporate Accounts to identify new revenue opportunities and coordinate sales and support efforts
  • Initiating and executing on sales campaigns and webinar/on-site product trainings
  • Fostering positive and productive relationships with Alarm.com’s dealers and communicating information to management that is vital to successful relationships
  • Attending industry association meetings and trade shows as necessary
  • Interfacing with various departments within the organization including Dealer Operations & Support, Sales Support & Training, Product Management, Technical Account Management and Marketing
  • Staying up to date with new Alarm.com product release features to properly respond to partner inquiries

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree is required to be considered for this position.
  • 6+ years of experience in a sales role is preferred
  • Highly motivated, resourceful, self-starter with ability to deliver results
  • Successful history of account management, business development, and/or client training
  • The ability to communicate with customers, vendors, and executives both written and verbal, in a clear, professional manner
  • Passion for consumer technology and interest in developing a deep technical understanding of Alarm.com and partner products
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously in a small, fast-paced environment
  • Strong people skills; natural customer service orientation and disposition – candidate must enjoy working with clients and supporting internal customers in the organization
  • The ability and commitment to meet deadlines, even during high volume periods
  • Flexible and positive attitude that fosters team spirit
  • Experience using Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, Salesforce, WebExec, and PowerPoint
