Job Description:

We are looking for a Senior Director, Product Management- SRE Tooling and Platform to join our Zscaler SRE team and have a direct impact on our roadmap. In this role, you will own one or more product areas and lead the design of solutions for the SRE Teams. You must possess a blend of business and technical skills, have a big-picture vision and the drive to make that vision a reality with extreme attention to detail. This role consists of both inbound Product Management responsibilities – working with internal cross functional teams to build and enhance products and solutions – as well as outbound responsibilities, interacting with engineering teams and understanding industry trends and best practices. This role is remote for US residents.

Responsibilities:

• This individual will be responsible for building product roadmaps for SRE Platforms and Tools.
• Actively engage internal and external stake holders to review use cases and discuss technical requirements related to SRE Platform, tooling, observability and monitoring.
• Create and own PRD’s associated with SRE Platform and tooling requirements.
• Collaborate with SRE and Engineering teams to implement requirements captured in the PRD.
• Drive testing and release strategies to ensure new enhancements/features are able to address target use cases.
• Become a valued leader in the SRE leadership organization and drive tooling adoption and SRE best practice across Zscaler.
• Create business cases for new product initiatives and present them to the SRE leadership team.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
• 7+ years of experience in product management.
• Highly experienced in the culture of SRE in comparable technology environments.
• Strong technical foundation in operational tooling - Observability, Monitoring, Automations etc
• Experience delivering products as cloud-based services.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written) – must be able to communicate at a business and technical level with internal teams, customers, partners and executives.
• Solid experience with engaging technical teams to discuss use cases, review feature/function requirements and define solutions.

Zscaler’s salary ranges are benchmarked and are determined by role and level. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations and could be higher or lower based on a multitude of factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

The base salary range listed for this full-time position excludes commission/ bonus/ equity (if applicable) + benefits.
